Safety Officers.

The GMRG engage in a wide variety of activities. Many of these activities are ceremonial, most are in the public eye, and some are private in-house events. Whatever activity we engage in, our aim is to portray realistic and engaging scenes of life within and around the armed forces from pre-Federation to Vietnam.
Often these activities involve the firing of weapons - firearms, artillery, bazookas - and visually stunning pyrotechnics.
The useage of such ordnance requires precision planning and careful
supervision.
In line with our Safety Orders, appointed Safety Officers are present at every GMRG activity. The Safety Officers give advice, direction, and monitor the event to ensure the Safety Orders are adhered to for the safety of all members and participants attending GMRG events.
Safety is the responsibility of every GMRG member. Be alert for Safety Violations, respect and abide by the Safety Regulations, obey directives from the Safety Officers, and take responsibility to safeguard yourself and those around you. |
